Hoosick Blooms was started in 2018 as a benefit for Civic and Cultural Restoration (CiviCure), a community arts and cultural not-for-profit organization. CiviCure is working to restore the Wood Block Building which was the home of Wood’s Opera House when it was built in 1880. With it’s spectacular third floor performance spaces and spacious second story rooms, the Wood Block is an anchor building located at 1-5 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York.
